Admission Process – RMDPS, Udaipur

Investing in your child’s education is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. At Rasiklal M. Dhariwal Public School (RMDPS), Udaipur, we strive to make this journey smooth, transparent, and stress-free for parents and students alike.

This section provides a clear overview of our admission procedure and eligibility criteria. Admissions are open throughout the year and are strictly subject to the availability of seats.

Eligibility Criteria

The age criteria for admission to various classes are strictly followed as per the National Education Policy (NEP) guidelines.

Step 1: Admission Enquiry

To begin the admission process, parents are encouraged to connect with our Admission Counsellor:

Parents may visit the school campus to understand our academic framework, co-curricular activities, infrastructure, and overall learning environment. A guided campus tour is also arranged to give a complete insight into school life at RMDPS.

Walk-in Enquiry Timings:

Monday to Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
(Closed on Sundays and Public Holidays)

Step 2: Registration

Registration is the second step of the admission process for the specific academic year and class. Parents can purchase the Registration Form and School Prospectus from the Admission Cell by paying a registration fee of ₹200/-.

Documents required at the time of registration:

  1. Two latest passport-size photographs of the child.
  2. Passport-size photographs of parents.
  3. Self-attested copy of the child’s Date of Birth Certificate.

Note: The registration fee is non-refundable, non-adjustable, and valid only for the specified academic year.

Step 3: School Visit & Interaction / Entrance Test

Every registered student is required to appear for an interaction or entrance test, depending on the class applied for. The entrance test is based on the syllabus of the previous class attended.

Subjects may include English, Hindi, and Mathematics, aimed at assessing grade-appropriate academic skills. This is followed by an interaction with the Principal. Admission is offered based on the student’s performance in the entrance test and interaction.

Step 4: Form Submission

After selection, parents are required to fill in the Admission Form and submit the following documents:

  1. Copy of the child’s Birth Certificate.
  2. Copy of Aadhaar Card of the child and parents.
  3. Original Transfer Certificate (TC) from the previous school.
  4. Copy of the Report Card of the previous class (for Class I onwards).

All documents must be complete and duly verified.

Step 5: Fee Payment & Admission Confirmation

Upon successful completion of all formalities, parents are required to pay the applicable admission and school fees to confirm admission.

Important Points to Note:

  • Admissions are granted on a First Come, First Served basis, subject to seat availability.
  • Selected students must complete form submission and fee payment within 48 hours of declaration of the entrance test/interaction results.
  • The school reserves the right to admission, and the decision of the school management shall be final and binding.

Admission Confirmation

Once the fee payment and documentation process is completed, the admission is confirmed. Parents will be informed via SMS or phone call regarding:

  • Reopening of the academic session
  • Book and uniform details
  • Any further formalities, if required
